When I was younger, my granny was known as the Teacake Lady. I remember watching her work. She'd use a cooking spray bottle to help roll the dough just right, and cut each teacake. She made teacakes for family, church members, and everyone who crossed her path. Years after she passed, people still talk about her teacakes

And years after, we have tried to recreate her amazing teacakes, but there's something missing every time. It's her.
